This jewelry box is hand-built by master artisans in Essaouira, Morocco — the historic coastal city recognized by UNESCO and known for over five centuries of Thuya woodcraft. The diamond pattern on the lid is cut piece by piece from contrasting woods — Thuya burl, walnut, ebony and lemon wood — then fitted together by hand and polished to a soft natural glow.
